Side Effects of Avacor
Written by: Tina Laramie
Avacor products are recommended by the manufacturer to be used together as a system. These three products work together to help in the growth of hair on the top of the head. The Avacor Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo is to be used to cleanse the scalp. However, excessive use of the Scalp Detoxifying Shampoo could cause hair loss due to hair and scalp dryness. The Avacor Physicians Topical Formula is to be rubbed into the scalp twice daily. The Avacor Nutricap DHT Blocker Capsules are to be taken, orally, twice day. The directions for each product are very explicit and should be followed. If they are not followed the company does not guarantee the results. Avacor is not recommended for nursing or pregnant women as per the www.Avacor.com website.
There are possible side effects. Based on the website of Avacor there are no known major side effects.
However, the minor side effects that may be experienced while using Avacor are:
- Dizziness, faintness, headaches or light headedness
- Sudden unexplained weight gain or water retention
- Rapid heart beat, chest tightness and/or discomfort
- Localized scalp reactions
- Skin irritation such as (dryness, itching, redness, mild burning)
- Hair dryness (an increased rate of hair loss)
If these symptoms do occur a physician should be contacted and medical attention sought.
Avacor can cause these other mild side effects as well: Mild heartburn, constipation, diarrhea, and nausea. However, these symptoms should subside as the body adapts to the products.
As stated on the Avacor website, occasionally, hair also may grow in other areas. It could be on the face, arms, or back. A physician should be contacted if any of these symptoms occur. Avacor is not recommended for regrowth of eyebrows. The Herbal Topical Solution may get in the eye and cause severe eye irritation.
Also, it should not react with any medications already being taken by a user but checking with a physician first is highly recommended.
